Tear Trough Filler

Book Your Complimentary Consultation

What are the benefits?

As we age, the pads under our eyes slip, leaving a hollow area, technically known as a tear trough. The thin skin under our eyes then lays directly on top of blood vessels which allows a “tired” look to come through. So, whether you experience puffy eyes from a lack of sleep or fine lines from squinting and smiling, Evolution Laser Clinic can help you.

What are my options?

At Evolution Laser Clinic we offer an injectable gel specifically designed to treat tear troughs. Dermal Filler is a natural component of the skin. It holds in moisture like a sponge, to keep skin firm, soft and supple. However, with age, the skin’s acid content diminishes. The skin loses volume, becomes dry, thin and fragile. Underneath the skin, other tissues also retract. As a result, under eye circles become hollow and more visible. Evolution Laser Clinic can provide assistance to treat under eyes by using an injection of a dermal filler gel specifically for the delicate eye contour.

How does it work?

We combine dermal fillers with mesotherapy to build up your skin’s density from the inside out. Mesotherapy is a carefully selected list of nourishing ingredients added to a cosmetic injectable. Not only does it fill hollow areas but actively thickens the skin to reduce the appearance of blood vessels. Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a natural sugar our bodies produce to keep our skin hydrated. When the combination is injected, it gives smooth and natural-looking results.

Post care

To ensure you have the longest-lasting results with the fewest side effects, there are a few simple aftercare instructions:

• Remain upright for six hours to ensure correct dispersion of the treatment
• Do not rub the injection site
• Avoid makeup for 12 hours
• Avoid excessive sun exposure; this includes sun baking, for 2 weeks
• Avoid UV lights, freezing temperatures, saunas or Turkish baths for 2 weeks

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

At Evolution Laser, our prices vary depending on the area and how much product is required. Our qualified registered nurses advise the total cost prior to your treatment. They will take you through the prices of dermal fillers in Sydney before determining the appropriate treatment plan and the dosage needed to achieve desired results.

Do under eye injections hurt?

At Evolution Laser Clinic, our medical team prides themselves on making each patient feel comfortable. Many dermal filler injections have lidocaine, a topical anaesthetic, in their solution so the treatment becomes easier as it progresses.

How long do results last?

Dermal filler injections can last up to 6 – 12 months with some fillers lasting up to 18 months. Results often vary depending on a range of factors, including your lifestyle, metabolism, and the current state of your skin.

What will happen during the treatment?

The medical practitioner will make a precise diagnosis of the area requiring treatment. An injection of the gel will be administered with a sterile, single use syringe. Post care instructions will then be revised.

How many treatments will I need?

Our Registered Nurses will advise the best treatment plan for you to maintain your results at your complimentary consultation.

Can I go straight back to work after my appointment?

You may experience some post injection reactions such as minor bruising and/or swelling in the treated area. These reactions do not always occur and are usually short term and correctable.

Can I travel after my injectable treatment?

Travel is not advised until 2-4 weeks after your procedure. This is to ensure that if you do have any side effects, complications or general questions that you are close to your treating practitioner and can be taken care of.

Can I receive any vaccinations after my medical procedure?

All vaccinations are not recommended 2 weeks prior or within 2 weeks of your treatment.
